New to The River or looking for your next step? Discovery 101 is a one-hour class designed to help you get to know The River and discover what we’re all about. You’ll get to meet some of our pastoral team and meet others who are new just like you! This class outlines what it means to be a member and gives you the opportunity to join.
Whether you're new to faith or just new to The River, Discovery 101 is a great way to get connected, ask questions, and take a next step.

Discovery 101 takes place on the second Sunday of every month at 12:30 PM in The Gathering Place. Lunch and childcare provided.
Impact Night

If you haven't been through any of our Growth Track, and you’re looking for a way to Discover Your Purpose and get more connected here at The River, we want to invite you to Dream Team Impact Nights! You will hear from Pastor Matthew, meet ministry leaders, take a tour of the South Campus renovation, and "fast track" through our two classes: Discovery 101 & Serve 201 at the same time. These two next steps are typically completed separately and they're designed to help you learn more about The River, discover where you fit, and get plugged into a ministry area to serve.

Childcare will be available for children 6 weeks through 3rd grade!

Serve 201
Discover Your Purpose! The Dream Team is made up of amazing volunteers who use their gifts to serve in our church and in our community. At Serve 201, we will help you learn more about your unique gifts and find a place to connect on our Dream Team. This one hour class includes a fun personal assessment and a time to meet our ministry leaders.

Values 301
Make friends, meet our pastors, and grow spiritually in one of our most engaging environments – Values 301. This 6-week class, taught by Pastor Matthew and The River Teaching Team, is designed to help develop meaningful relationships through a small group experience, all while learning more about the core values of Christian living and the culture and DNA that makes us The River Church. If you have been looking to jump into a group but don’t know where to start, this is the place! Childcare is provided.
